Happy 4th Birthday Haylie!

For Haylie's Birth Day we let her decide what we did for the day:)
We started out skating at the rink and getting her private lesson from her favorite coach, Holly.
Some of the family us able to join us at Peter Piper for some lunch and that was such a treat.
Haylie loves to see her cousins so this was perfect for her. She played a ton of games and enjoyed a red velvet cupcake made by mom. Always the best when I make them....right;)
After 4 1/2 hours at Peter Piper we headed home for a nap.
Then we were off to Chili's for some more family fun. Haylie was so funny. When the waitress gave Haylie her brownie sundae she thought she was on top of the world! When I asked to take a bite she told me," The lady said this is for the birthday girl, sorry!" I did end of with a few bites but it took a lot of begging.
I think we were all pooped by the end of the day.

James loves to spend time with his grandpa and they dominated that skee ball:)
They determined to hit the jackpot....and they did!!!
Haylie and Emalie knew exactly how many tickets these adults needed to win to get them what they wanted!
Haylie,
Mommy and Daddy feel so lucky to have you as our little princess. You are such a sweet and bright little girl. We love watching you grow and seeing your personality form.
You will always be our little girl:)
Love,
Mommy and Daddy

Christmas Day

Christmas is always big deal at our house. The kids look forward to the next year the day after Christmas! The tradition in our house is for the kids to come to our room and they have to wait for us to go see what Santa has left. We don't have the typical kids that are up at 6am begging to go out and see the presents. We always have to wake up at least one of them. This year it was James and Haylie. It was 9:00 when we decided it was time that everyone got up. James and Haylie were both begging to sleep just a little longer!
Here they are running from our room to see!

After that we head to the living room to see if Santa filled the stocking.
Yep, he sure did! And he drank the milk and had a few cookies.
That always puts a smile on the kids face:)

Kayla and Michaela made up their own routine to Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer.
They did great job and only had 2 times to practice!

Here are Holly's girls skating to Sugar Plum Fairies. It was so cute to see all these girls with so many different skating abilities come together.

Haylie's School Christmas Party

Haylie always looks forward to any party but she was extra excited for her class Christmas party. She got to make a gingerbread house, eat some yummy food and desserts and they had a book exchange. As usual some of the kids wanted their own books. Of course Haylie was one of them. She helped me wrap it and was so excited to put it under the tree at school. When it was time open them she was all smiles. She got HER book and we had to read it right way!
It was a great party and Haylie sure enjoyed herself:)
